CroxyProxy has run longer, sends a Content-Security-Policy header, and lets paying users pick from six server countries. ChatGPT is inconsistent through both: on 15 Oct 2026 its page loaded through CroxyProxy and through AnyProxy's Virginia region, but not AnyProxy's Frankfurt region, and neither got a prompt answered without logging in.

CroxyProxy has run since 2016 and is one of the largest web proxies by traffic, especially in Indonesia and Russia. It renders most social and video sites, with strong YouTube coverage thanks to a dedicated rewrite layer. The free tier carries ads; Premium, sold through Patreon from $3.50/month, removes proxy-service ads and adds a choice of servers in six countries.

Results vary. On 12 Oct the Cloudflare check stayed on "Verifying..." from all three regions. On 15 Oct a first run through Virginia stayed blank; later runs that day loaded the page through Virginia and Singapore, and through CroxyProxy, while Frankfurt stayed stuck. What each homepage actually sends

The biggest gap is HTTPS enforcement. CroxyProxy's homepage sends two Strict-Transport-Security headers that contradict each other, and browsers act on the first one — max-age=0 — which tells them to forget any HTTPS-only rule for the domain. It also negotiated TLS 1.2 where anyproxy.site negotiated 1.3, and set two cookies from the server before any click. CroxyProxy does send a Content-Security-Policy, which anyproxy.site does not.

Cloudflare-protected sites do not open through it: on 12 Oct 2026 all six test sites (4chan, Stack Overflow, nixos.wiki, Chatiw, Omegle Web and Glimmer Fics) stopped at "Performing security verification" and ended in "Unable to connect to the website".
Homepage sends two conflicting Strict-Transport-Security headers; browsers obey the first, max-age=0, which turns HTTPS-only enforcement off (measured 5 Oct 2026).
On YouTube it shows the embedded player instead of the normal one. In three runs on 15 Oct 2026 the video did not start in our automated browser, and one run exited through Poland with an EU cookie consent screen in front of the video.

The same six loaded through AnyProxy. The cause is structural: Cloudflare ties its check to the site's own address, and a web proxy shows the site under a different address, so the check cannot finish unless the proxy completes it on your behalf.
