Task-oriented guides for opening blocked sites, fixing proxy errors, and using AnyProxy on managed, work, mobile, and managed browser networks.
Open anyproxy.site, type the blocked site's address, pick a region and press Open. The site opens on its home page in the same tab; navigate from there. No app, no signup. It fails when your network blocks anyproxy.site itself, or when the site refuses proxy traffic, as Reddit did in our 15 October 2026 tests.
5 min readCheck your acceptable-use policy first; asking IT to unblock a wrongly categorised work site is often the quickest fix. If proxies are allowed, open anyproxy.site in your work browser, type the site's address and press Open. Nothing installs. Your employer can usually see that you connected to anyproxy.site, and many corporate filters block proxy sites as a category. We have not tested AnyProxy against corporate filters.
5 min readOpen anyproxy.site, type chatgpt.com, pick Virginia and press Open. On 15 October 2026 ChatGPT's page loaded through Virginia, and through Singapore on a second try; Frankfurt stayed on a Cloudflare check. On 12 October all three regions stuck at that check. We could not get a logged-out prompt answered, and we did not test sign-in. Check OpenAI's terms and your local law before using it from an unsupported country.
5 min readOpen anyproxy.site, type instagram.com, press Open. Instagram's login page loads. Without signing in, you will not get further: public profiles redirected to the login page in Singapore, Frankfurt and Virginia on 15 October 2026, and Reels stayed blank. We did not test signing in. If you do, the proxy handles your password, and the network's acceptable-use policy still applies.
5 min readOn a laptop, open anyproxy.site, type web.whatsapp.com, pick the region with the lowest ping and press Open. On 15 October 2026 the QR code loaded through Singapore, tested from outside China. To link, the WhatsApp app on your phone must itself reach WhatsApp's servers, which Chinese networks block, so linking may fail. We have not tested this from inside China.
6 min readOpen anyproxy.site, type youtube.com, pick the nearest region and press Open. YouTube opens on its home page; search for your video. On 15 October 2026 a regular video played to the end through Singapore and Frankfurt, but Shorts stayed black and the phone layout did not start playback. The network can still see that you used a proxy, and its acceptable-use policy applies.
5 min readLook at what the tab shows. A Cloudflare 'Verifying…' box, 'Sorry, you have been blocked' or 'Access Denied' comes from the site you asked for, not from your network. A page that never reaches anyproxy.site means your network blocks us. Switch region for the first kind, change network for the second.
6 min readPick the region nearest to you first: distance is the biggest factor we measured. Then lower YouTube's quality and close busy tabs. If YouTube also buffers without the proxy, the network is the bottleneck and no proxy can add bandwidth. Pro adds Tokyo and Los Angeles; it does not make an existing region faster or raise video quality.
