How the request flows
Three hops, one browser tab
Every proxied page load is three network conversations chained together. Your browser talks to the proxy; the proxy talks to the destination; the destination's page comes back through the same tunnel. Watch it happen.
Request goes out
Your browser opens a TLS connection to anyproxy.site and sends the URL inside the encrypted body. Our region opens a fresh TLS connection to the destination and asks for the page as an ordinary visitor.
Site returns the page
The destination streams back the HTML, JavaScript, and images to our proxy. The site sees the request came from the proxy's IP, not yours. Nothing about your device is included.
Rewritten response reaches you
We rewrite every internal link so the next click stays inside the tunnel, then stream the page back to your tab over the same TLS connection. Your local network only ever saw traffic to anyproxy.site.

What a web proxy does
A proxy site, one browser tab away
A web proxy is a server that fetches a page on your behalf. Instead of your browser asking the destination site directly, it asks the proxy, and the proxy returns the page. The destination sees the proxy's IP; your network sees an encrypted connection to the proxy.
Because AnyProxy is a proxy site — a website, not an app — you can use it on any modern browser without installing anything. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop, Android, or iOS all work.

Because we sit between you and the destination, trust is the whole product. Here is exactly what changes and what doesn't.
Separate HTTPS connections
Your browser talks to us over HTTPS. We talk to the destination over HTTPS. Your local network sees encrypted traffic to anyproxy.site — nothing about the site you opened.
Data handling
AnyProxy processes destination requests and may retain operational records, including destination and session information. See our privacy policy for data handling and deletion requests.
IP masking
The destination site sees the proxy server's IP address for the region you picked. Your device IP never touches the destination. Sign-in cookies still work — those are yours to place.
No install, no trace
AnyProxy is a website, not an app or extension. Close the tab and nothing stays on the device. Shared laptops, borrowed phones, café PCs — all clean after.

Of the 43 sites we maintain guides for, 25 work fully in a proxied browser tab, 16 work with limits, and 2 do not work at all. The limits are not specific to AnyProxy — they come from how those services are built.

- Instagram — Instagram sends logged-out visitors to its login page; we did not test logging in (15 Oct 2026).
- TikTok — Explore and single videos played; some profile grids showed an error (15 Oct 2026).
- X — Mixed: profile pages were blank in some runs and partly loaded in others (15 Oct 2026).
- Facebook — The home page loads; public Pages appear behind a login dialog (15 Oct 2026).
- Snapchat — The home page stayed on its loading screen and Spotlight videos stayed black (15 Oct 2026).
- Discord — The home page and login QR load; the server directory showed Discord's own error page (15 Oct 2026). Voice and video use WebRTC.
- Signal — Signal has no standalone web client; linking needs the desktop or phone app.
- Google — Google search answered with an "unusual traffic" reCAPTCHA from our servers (15 Oct 2026).
- DuckDuckGo — Searches hit DuckDuckGo's own bot check; !bang shortcuts worked (15 Oct 2026).
- Yandex — Web search showed a captcha; Images and Maps worked (15 Oct 2026).
- ChatGPT — Cloudflare check — may fail
- Spotify — Browsing and public playlists load; playback asks you to sign in to a Spotify account (tested 15 Oct 2026).
- Netflix — Playback needs an account, and the service enforces its own region and licence checks. A test DRM video did play through AnyProxy (15 Oct 2026), so the limit is the service, not the DRM technology. Use the official app.

Who actually serves the sites people unblock
We looked up the network behind each of 37 popular sites. Most run on a handful of providers — which is why a country that blocks a provider's IP ranges takes out many unrelated sites at once, and why a proxy that fetches from outside that country reaches them all.

- You need subscription streaming (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video): these services check account, region and licence, and we do not support them.
