Regular videos did in our 15 October 2026 test: a 19-second video played to the end through AnyProxy Singapore. A YouTube Short loaded its page but the player stayed black. We have not measured resolution limits.
Why does YouTube ask me to accept cookies through the proxy?
YouTube shows its EU "Before you continue" screen to visitors from Europe. Through AnyProxy's Frankfurt server the site sees a German address, so the screen appears. Choose Singapore or Virginia to avoid it, or click Reject all.
Can I sign in to YouTube through a proxy?
We did not test sign-in. Anything you type, including a password, passes through the proxy operator. AnyProxy may keep destination and session records, so use two-factor authentication and sign out afterwards.
Which is faster for YouTube, a proxy or a VPN?
We have not measured it. Speed depends on the distance to the server and how busy it is. With a proxy, pick the region closest to you; Pro adds Tokyo and Los Angeles.
