Does AnyProxy have a browser extension?
No. AnyProxy is only a website. You open anyproxy.site in any modern browser and paste the address you want.
Why are extensions blocked on my Chromebook?
If it is managed by a school or employer, the admin can block all extensions with Chrome's ExtensionInstallBlocklist policy and allow only approved ones.
Which is more private?
Neither is anonymous. A web proxy operator handles the pages you open; AnyProxy may keep destination and session records. An extension operator can see the traffic it routes and, depending on its permissions, data on the pages you visit.
What about KProxy's extension?
We could not check it. On 5 October 2026 kproxy.com served a certificate for another domain, and on 15 October HTTPS connections to it timed out from our test machine.
