Free Perplexity proxy. No install. Works on a Chromebook, a phone, and any managed browser.
What is a Perplexity proxy?
A Perplexity proxy is a server that fetches Perplexity for you and returns the page through your browser. Instead of your device asking perplexity.ai directly, your browser asks anyproxy.site, and we ask Perplexity on your behalf. The site sees our server, not you. Your network sees anyproxy.site, not Perplexity.
That single hop is what lets a blocked Perplexity page open. No app to install, no account to make. Six regions, sorted by real latency.
From your country
Which errors it fixes
These are the exact messages Perplexity shows when the network in front of you refuses the connection. Every one of them is a block sitting between you and the site — routing the request through a region where Perplexity is open steps around it.
How to unblock Perplexity
It is already in the box above. Paste a full Perplexity link if you have one.
We start you on the nearest server. A closer region means smoother loading.
Perplexity opens in this tab. Use it as you normally would.
What works on Perplexity
Why is Perplexity blocked?
Perplexity is one of the most-visited sites on earth, with more than 50 million monthly users. That reach is exactly why it gets blocked — not by governments most of the time, but by the network you happen to be on.
Schools and offices filter it to save bandwidth. Some ISPs throttle it. A few countries restrict it during elections or unrest. In every one of those cases the block sits between you and Perplexity, so routing your request through a server somewhere else steps around it.
A proxy does not hack Perplexity or hide who you are from the operator. It just fetches the page from a place where it is not blocked, and hands it back to your tab.
FAQ
On managed networks
Managed networks — school Wi-Fi, café PCs, hostel internet — often filter Perplexity at the DNS or IP level. Enterprise policy tools such as Cisco Umbrella, Zscaler, and Cloudflare Gateway maintain block lists that include Perplexity by default in the "social media" or "ai" category.
Because AnyProxy is a website — not an app or extension — a Chromebook or managed browser that restricts installs still opens it in Chrome. Paste perplexity.ai and Perplexity loads in the same tab. Note: your organisation's acceptable-use policy still applies; check it before use.
Speed & privacy
Latency. Perplexity loads through the nearest AnyProxy region — one hop. On our free tier, expect the same load time you would see on an ordinary café Wi-Fi network. On Pro, priority edge routing shaves 20–40 ms off large-page loads.
Privacy. Traffic between your browser and AnyProxy is TLS-encrypted. Between AnyProxy and Perplexity, TLS again. Your local network sees an encrypted connection to us — never the Perplexity URLs you asked for. We do not log the URLs you visit.
What Perplexity sees. The site sees a request from our region's IP, not yours. If you choose to log in on the real perplexity.ai after it loads, Perplexity identifies your account as normal — the proxy hides the request origin, not your identity. Never enter your Perplexity password on anyproxy.site itself; only on the genuine perplexity.ai URL the proxy opens for you.
Alternatives
1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 route around DNS-level blocks. Fast to try, no install. Fails on IP-level and DPI blocks.
Routes every app. Requires an install — blocked on managed Chromebooks and locked work devices. See proxy vs VPN.
Beats DNS + IP + most DPI. Zero install. Works inside one browser tab. Best when you need Perplexity open right now on any device.
