Looking for a CroxyProxy alternative? Four options compared on measured security, price and regions — CroxyProxy Premium costs $3.50 a month and its homepage turns HSTS off. Free options included.

TL;DR

CroxyProxy opened a Wikipedia article fine on 15 October 2026 and has run since 2016. Where it fell short in our tests: six Cloudflare-protected sites all stopped at "Unable to connect" (12 Oct), a YouTube video did not start in three runs, and its homepage HSTS header is set to max-age=0. AnyProxy opened those six sites; Reddit blocked both. AnyProxy publishes this page and sells a web proxy, so weigh our view accordingly.

Why users leave CroxyProxy

Pain points that drive the search

Cloudflare-protected sites (4chan, Stack Overflow, nixos.wiki, Chatiw, Omegle Web, Glimmer Fics) ended at "Unable to connect to the website" on 12 Oct 2026.
A YouTube watch page loaded but the embedded player did not start in three automated runs on 15 Oct 2026.
Its own bar sits over the top of every proxied page (seen on Wikipedia).
Homepage sends two conflicting HSTS headers; browsers obey max-age=0 (measured 5 Oct 2026).
Ads on the free tier; Premium to remove them is $3.50 a month via Patreon.

Per-alternative rationale

Why each alternative earned its rank

1

AnyProxy

Our pick

Opened all six Cloudflare-protected test sites that CroxyProxy could not (12 Oct 2026), and played a YouTube video to the end via Singapore (15 Oct). HSTS enforced, no cookies set on landing. Gaps: ChatGPT and Frankfurt YouTube were hit and miss, Reddit blocked it too, and it has only three free regions. AnyProxy publishes this page.

Best forCroxyProxy users who keep hitting Cloudflare "Unable to connect" pages.
Try AnyProxy
2

Proxyium

Cleaner homepage headers than CroxyProxy (HSTS for a year, no cookies on landing), but it runs the same engine: same Cloudflare failures on 12 Oct and the same stalled YouTube player on 15 Oct. Free only, 60-day law-enforcement logs.

Best forUsers near Europe who want a different operator with tidier headers, not different results.

3

ProxySite

Different operator with US and EU server choice and no paid plan. We could not get a proxied page out of it on 12 Oct 2026 (every request bounced to its homepage), so we cannot vouch for what it opens.

Best forUsers who want to try a non-CroxyProxy engine and do not mind ads.

FAQ

CroxyProxy alternative questions

Why look for a CroxyProxy alternative?
In our tests: Cloudflare-protected sites never got past its security check (12 Oct 2026), and a YouTube video did not start in three runs (15 Oct). Its free tier carries ads; Premium is $3.50 a month through Patreon.
Does anything open Reddit when CroxyProxy cannot?
Not among the proxies we tried. On 15 October 2026 Reddit showed "You've been blocked by network security" through both CroxyProxy and AnyProxy. Reddit says logging in clears it; we did not test that.
Are BlockAway and Proxyium different from CroxyProxy?
They run the same proxy engine: same URL scheme and identical results in our Cloudflare and YouTube tests. Switching between them changes the operator and homepage, not what opens.
Is AnyProxy free like CroxyProxy?
Yes. AnyProxy is free with three regions (Singapore, Frankfurt, Virginia); Pro is $4.99 a month or $39 a year and removes ads on our own pages and adds Tokyo and Los Angeles. No signup on the free tier.
Does AnyProxy keep logs?
Yes, it can. AnyProxy may record destination hosts or URLs, session identifiers, region and a hashed IP. Do not treat any web proxy as anonymous; read the privacy policy.
