Best Alternatives to ProxySite

ProxySite is one of the oldest free web proxies, but it is ad-only with no paid plan and blocks automated checks. Four alternatives compared on measured security, price and regions.

TL;DR

ProxySite is one of the oldest free web proxies, ad-supported with no paid plan. On 12 October 2026 we could not get a single proxied page out of it: every request bounced back to its homepage, under a large ad. Its homepage also answers plain HTTP clients with a Cloudflare 403 (again on 15 October). Alternatives below are ranked on what we could test. AnyProxy publishes this page and sells a web proxy, so weigh our view accordingly.

Why users leave ProxySite

Pain points that drive the search

In our 12 Oct 2026 test every proxied request (form, script and its own redirect) bounced to the ProxySite homepage.
Ad-supported with no paid plan, so ads cannot be removed.
Homepage sits behind a Cloudflare bot challenge: plain HTTP clients got a 403 on 12 and 15 Oct 2026.
Many users share each server IP, so destination sites show more CAPTCHAs (reported in 2026 reviews; not measured by us).

AnyProxy

Our pick

FAQ

ProxySite alternative questions

Is ProxySite working?
Its homepage loads in a browser, but on 12 October 2026 every site we tried to open through it bounced back to the homepage, so we got no proxied page at all. Your results may differ by browser.
Does ProxySite have a paid plan?
We found none. It is free and ad-supported, so there is no way to pay to remove the ads (checked October 2026).
Why does ProxySite show me a Cloudflare check?
Its homepage runs behind Cloudflare bot protection. Our plain HTTP check got a 403 challenge page on 12 and 15 October 2026; some privacy tools and VPNs trigger the same.
Is AnyProxy free like ProxySite?
Yes. AnyProxy is free with three regions (Singapore, Frankfurt, Virginia); Pro is $4.99 a month or $39 a year and removes ads on our own pages and adds Tokyo and Los Angeles.
Does any alternative open every site?
No. Through AnyProxy, Reddit, Google search and umingle.com blocked us on 15 October 2026, and ChatGPT was hit and miss. Through CroxyProxy, Reddit blocked too.
