Best Alternatives to KProxy

KProxy has 20+ years of uptime history but struggles with modern single-page apps like Discord, WhatsApp Web, and ChatGPT. Four alternatives that handle modern apps cleanly.

Updated 15 Oct 2026·3 alternatives compared
TL;DR

KProxy, around since about 2005, was not usable when we checked: on 5 October 2026 www.kproxy.com served a certificate for a different domain (*.yanacyber.fr), on 12 October it returned a 404 once verification was bypassed, and on 15 October HTTPS connections timed out from our test machine. The alternatives below are ones we could actually test. AnyProxy publishes this page and sells a web proxy, so weigh our view accordingly.

Why users leave KProxy

Pain points that drive the search

5 Oct 2026: certificate issued for *.yanacyber.fr, so browsers showed "Your connection is not private".
12 Oct 2026: with certificate checks off, the site returned "404 page not found".
15 Oct 2026: HTTPS connections to all its addresses timed out from our test machine; plain HTTP only redirected to HTTPS.
Its browser extension could not be checked while the site is down.

FAQ

KProxy alternative questions

Is KProxy down?
It was not usable in October 2026. On the 5th it served a certificate for another domain, on the 12th a 404, and on the 15th HTTPS connections timed out from our test machine. Check again before relying on it.
Should I click "Proceed anyway" to use KProxy?
No. A certificate for the wrong domain means your browser cannot confirm who it is talking to, and a proxy sees every page you open through it.
Does AnyProxy have a browser extension like KProxy?
No. AnyProxy is only a website; you open it in any browser and paste an address. That also means it works where extensions are blocked.
Does AnyProxy keep logs?
It can. AnyProxy may record destination hosts or URLs, session identifiers, region and a hashed IP address. Read the privacy policy and do not treat any web proxy as anonymous.
