Instagram Reels, feed, and web DMs through a free proxy in 2026 — 4 ranked options tested on managed Wi-Fi and mobile browser networks. No app installs.
Logged out, Instagram is hard through any web proxy. On 15 October 2026 we asked four proxies for public profiles. 4everProxy showed one of two (NASA, with a sign-up box on top). AnyProxy reached Instagram but every profile request went to the login page. CroxyProxy and Proxyium refused Instagram with "Request failed". 4everProxy ranks first here; AnyProxy second.
Context
How we ranked: the task is opening a public profile without logging in, because that is what we can test without an account. We ran it on the same afternoon through each proxy and checked every screenshot. Logged-in use (feed, Reels, DMs, uploads) was not tested on any proxy, so this list makes no claims about it. AnyProxy publishes this list and ranks itself in it, so treat our placement with suspicion. That is why every ranking below points to a dated test or measurement, including the tests AnyProxy lost.

Full breakdown
The only proxy that showed a public profile in our test: NASA's header, bio and highlights loaded behind Instagram's sign-up box. A second profile (natgeo) went to the login page, so it is 1 of 2, not reliable. Free with ads; it lists more server locations than any other free proxy we checked.
Instagram itself loads (the login page renders in full), but in four runs across Singapore, Virginia and Frankfurt every public-profile request was redirected to "Log into Instagram". The same profile opened directly from our test machine, so Instagram applies a logged-out wall to datacenter addresses. Logging in was not tested.
Did not reach Instagram at all: CroxyProxy returned its own "Request failed. Requested resource is currently not supported" page.
Same "Request failed ... not supported" page as CroxyProxy; the two share an engine. Ranked last because it also lacks CroxyProxy's paid option.
