Currently accessible
Not blocked at the country level, but common school, office, and hostel networks in Indonesia filter them. Route through AnyProxy to skip that filter.
Background
Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo) actively blocks sites that fail to register under the PSE (Private Electronic System Operator) rules. TikTok, Reddit, and Netflix have all been temporarily blocked in recent years; ISP-level filtering handles the enforcement. School and workplace Wi-Fi networks add another layer on top.
How the filtering works: Kominfo issues nationwide block lists that ISPs enforce via DNS. Bypass is common — the underlying sites usually stay online, just unreachable via the default network path.
ISPs in Indonesia
Most Indonesia filters live at the ISP or workplace level. Routing through AnyProxy sends only encrypted traffic to us — the ISP sees the connection, not the destination.
The essentials
Law & policy
Web proxies are widely used in Indonesia and are legal. Content you access is still subject to local Kominfo takedowns.
Not legal advice. School and workplace policies may still prohibit proxy use even where the tool itself is lawful.
Billing
Free tier stays free. 4 local payment methods accepted for Pro on Indonesia networks.
Rendering
Indonesia-hosted pages render in the language they were served in. Proxying moves where the request comes from, not what it says — no translation layer.
